Nikki Goldsberry and her Family
Nikki, a vibrant and high-energy individual, exudes a contagious enthusiasm for uplifting those around her. With an enduring dedication to igniting happiness and nurturing overall well-being, she initially stepped onto the yoga mat seeking physical strength and flexibility. She found solace in the yoga community, and through breath and mind-body awareness, yoga became transformative, shedding 75 pounds, allowing Nikki to reclaim her sense of self and rebuild her confidence.
Inspired by yoga’s profound impact, Nikki earned her 200-hour Teacher Training Certificate, followed by her 300-hour in 2022. She is now an E-RYT® 500 and YACEP® with Yoga Alliance, and continues to expand her expertise with specialized certifications in Kids Yoga, Prenatal & Postnatal, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Mobility, Acro/Partner Yoga, Aerial, Pilates Sculpt and Barre.
Yoga became a big source of healing for Nikki after she lost her son Jeremy, an experience that deepened her dedication to supporting others through trauma and life’s challenges. Which prompted her to delve into specializing in trauma and pre & postnatal practices to aid others in their journey to healing after losing a child, traumatic birth experience or pregnancy.
As a certified Ayurvedic Nutritionist and life and business coach, Nikki extends her support beyond the mat, empowering others to reclaim their lives, voices and thoughts. She encourages others to speak louder, be heard, be seen and advocates for setting boundaries, removing toxicity, and creating a life filled with happiness. Known as the "dream maker," Nikki encourages others to aim high, dream bigger, and believe in themselves. To her, anything is possible.
As the proud owner of Empower Hot Yoga, Nikki serves as School Director and Lead Trainer of her Yoga Alliance Approved Elevated 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Her heart lies in building up and growing exceptional teachers through training, specialty programs, and one-on-one mentorship. She has successfully led numerous teacher training programs. Her courses are interactive, supportive, and practical—teachers leave prepared, confident, and inspired, equipped with tools they can bring directly into their classes. She is passionate about creating an environment where teachers feel seen, supported, and celebrated, knowing that when teachers thrive, their students thrive too. Nikki has studied with diverse teachers across yoga lineages and healing modalities, valuing curiosity, integration, and accessibility. Her approach is that yoga is truly for every-BODY and every-BODY has a story worth honoring.
Outside her professional work, Nikki treasures her role as a mom and partner, emphasizing that her kids and family always come first. In a beautiful relationship spanning 14 years, her husband remains not only her best friend but also her number one supporter. Outside of the studio you can find her out hiking to hot springs or waterfalls, paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, attending dance festivals, hosting dinner parties, or simply just being with her family and friends. Living life is her biggest accomplishment- she’ll never miss a beat to live, to experience, to laugh and to capture it 📸
