Congratulations on taking the first courageous step toward expanding your practice and exploring the transformative world of aerial yoga. This program is a Yoga Alliance YACEP Continuing Education course designed for teachers and dedicated students ready to deepen their skillset, elevate their understanding, and experience yoga from a whole new angle.

At Empower, we treat our trainings with intention, integrity, and care. This is not a casual weekend workshop—this is an immersive, hands-on journey that requires presence, focus, and commitment. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. By completing the Aerial Teacher Training Application, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in our enrollment agreement, waiver, and program policies.

All applications are carefully reviewed. Accepted applicants will be contacted to schedule an in-person interview. Upon acceptance, you will be asked to submit your deposit to secure your spot and complete any remaining enrollment steps.

This training is designed to give you a broad and well-rounded foundation in aerial yoga, beyond memorizing a single sequence or style. Many aerial programs teach one set approach; however, our curriculum explores multiple techniques, creative sequencing, safe rigging principles, anatomy for aerial movement, spotting, cuing, class structure and three styles of Aerial. You will gain knowledge in teaching Aerial Yoga, Aerial Restorative and Aerial Pilates. You will be encouraged to discover your own unique voice as an instructor while also gaining confidence in the essential skills every aerial teacher must know.

There is no requirement for physical ability or for advanced aerial skills. You will be met exactly where you are. We progress as a group, supporting one another through both challenge and growth. This training is open to those who want to teach and also to those who simply feel called to expand their personal practice. We’re here to RISE together.

Over the course of two immersive weekends, we will gather in a sacred training circle. You will build relationships, connect with a supportive community, and explore what it means to hold space in an elevated and conscious way. While the hours are fewer than a full yoga teacher training, the depth of connection, learning, and transformation remains powerful.

Upon graduation, you will leave with tools that extend beyond aerial yoga—skills that support confidence, creativity, safety, and the ability to cultivate community both on and off the hammock.
